May I get in touch with you regarding pet taxidermy or memorial options?

Yes, absolutely! I offer a range of options to help you remember your pet in a meaningful way.

That said, the most important first step is to give yourself time to grieve and reflect. I always recommend waiting a few days before making any significant decisions, to ensure that whatever choice you make feels right for you.

If you’re thinking about taxidermy, it’s important to act promptly to preserve your pet, while still giving yourself space to grieve and reflect.

Your pet should be frozen as soon as possible by sealing them tightly in cling film or a plastic bag. This helps protect their body from direct exposure to cold air, which can cause freezer burn and damage the skin or fur.

When stored properly in the freezer, your pet will be safe, giving you time to consider your options without rushing into a decision.

I encourage you to take time to grieve, explore my gallery, and reach out if you’d like to talk. There’s no pressure.  This is a deeply personal choice, and it’s important to make the decision that feels right for you.

Pet taxidermy is a more time-consuming and detail-oriented process compared to other forms of taxidermy. While all taxidermy requires skill and care, working with pets involves a higher level of precision and customisation to accurately capture the unique features and character of a much-loved companion.

Unlike traditional taxidermy, which often uses pre-made forms, pet preservation involves custom-sculpting each form to match the unique anatomy and character of the individual animal. This level of detail is essential to achieving a lifelike and respectful result.

In addition, a great deal of time is spent outside of the studio on client consultations, ensuring that every aspect of the process is handled with care, understanding and clear communication.

The final outcome is not a generic mount, but a high-quality, museum-grade piece that serves as a deeply personal and lasting tribute.

This complexity is one of the main reasons many taxidermists choose not to work with pets, as the emotional responsibility and technical requirements are far greater than most standard commissions.

I can't afford taxidermy or cremation for my pet.

I offer a range of options to suit different budgets, which can be discussed with me directly. Payment plans are also available, with an initial deposit required to secure your booking.

If you’d like your pet to be memorialised through taxidermy but don’t feel comfortable having them returned to you, I also offer free memorial pieces for every cat or dog donated to my work.

Please contact me to discuss the best option for you. There are several possibilities available. In some cases, I may be able to arrange collection personally, but there are also reliable courier and postal services frequently used by taxidermists and their clients.

I will provide clear guidance on how to safely pack your beloved pet or specimen, and I can even help coordinate courier arrangements on your behalf.

I always welcome donations, which can help save you the stress and expense of cremation or collection. Please ensure the animal is frozen immediately to preserve it properly. Once you’re ready, I will be happy to arrange collection or provide guidance on postage.

As a token of gratitude, I offer complimentary memorial pieces for all donated pets.

Taxidermy is a natural and unpredictable process, and every commission is created as a unique, handcrafted art piece.

Before enquiring, we kindly ask that you take a moment to read our Terms & Conditions, which outline important information about timeframes, deposits, artistic interpretation, and the care involved in each commission.
